SHORT RUN COMIX FESTIVAL!

The 2024 Short Run Comix Festival was an unforgettable experience for Common AREA Printshop as we proudly supported and showcased work from 18 local artists. The energy on November 2nd was electric, with thousands of artists and enthusiasts gathering to celebrate the art of alternative comix, small press, and handmade books. Seeing the fruits of our collective efforts displayed and enjoyed by so many underscored the significance of nurturing local talent and creative expression.

Short Run is more than just an event; it's a catalyst for inspiration and connection. This year’s festival highlighted the importance of inclusivity, fostering safe spaces, and uplifting diverse voices. Every interaction and new discovery reminded us why we are committed to supporting artists and the intimate, tactile joy of print media.

From preparation to the main event, being part of Short Run reaffirmed our dedication to community and creativity. The day left us inspired and motivated to keep fostering artistic growth and engagement in Seattle.
